"I don't really like
how the new format sets things up, if things need to to be
redone why not set it up as a dual team tournament, then
we would really know who is the best in the state. I also
don't like the new format because in the old style it was
little schools against big, now the way the matchups are,
nothing is consistent. Granted this does make for some
better matchups, but why call it 'All-Star Dual' when
there really is now set team the wrestlers score points
for. When the wrestler knows he has to pin for the team to
win, I think he wrestles different. Anyway, there are more
matches than last year, which I like, but I think it
should be a full scale Team Dual Tournament. Thank You." —
Jeremy Mecham, Coach, Rockwahl Junior High

great matches on the center mat but some of the best

"The wrestlers I
have [voted for] I believe are the best in the state and
are among the best in the nation. I think that this
year's All-Star Duals will be the best yet." — Chad
Ramswey

"I think you have to
many wrestlers to have an All-Star Dual like we had in the
past. I think you should have just two wrestlers in each
weight and I don't care if they are from the same school
(varsity/JV). If they get the votes, they get the
votes. In order to do that, each classification would have
to have the same amount of votes. In the case of a
tie, record and where they had been and who they had beat
would break the tie." — Steve Wardleigh

"What happened to
Bobcat Brawl Champion Cam Phillips of Lehi, and Juab's

format -- it gives a lot more wrestlers time in the
spotlight. Wrestling gets very little spotlight in the
Utah media!" — Sylvan Lovell
