MT. PLEASANT— People have heard throughout the wrestling
season about Dylan Clark and his abilities on the mat.
Now that his high school wrestling career is over and he
looks forward to college, it is time to realize just how
great a year and career it has been.
Wrestling at 215
pounds, Clark is a two-time state champion, taking the
top spot both as a junior and a senior. As a sophomore
he placed fourth.
This year Clark compiled a 51-2 record and amassed 44
total pins, breaking a 20-year-old record.
He was selected as the Most Outstanding Wrestler for
the upper divisions in the 3A State Championship
tournament, beating out Wasatch's Jake Salazar who is
ranked as the number three wrestler in the nation.
Athletes like Clark do not come along very often and
need to be recognized for their accomplishments. He has
been an asset to the school and the entire community.
