Prep: Weber Dominates Evanston Meet

Class 5-A's top-ranked Weber showed it deserves that No. 1 wrestling ranking by winning the prestigious 26-team Evanston (Wyo.) Invitational on Saturday night. The Warriors picked up 272.5 points to overtake runner-up Star Valley, Wyo., which had 231. South Summit was fourth, while Lehi was sixth, Mountain View seventh, Sky View 12th, Union 14th and Ben Lomond 15th.

Weber had five individual champions: Derek Malan at 112 pounds, Shay Warren at 125, Aaron Ross at 135, Lew Woolsey at 152 and Dustin Martin at 189.
