Sports Briefs: Provoan Tops
Nathaniel
Holt won the 145-pound title at the Reno Tournament of
Champions. He went 6-0 in the event and placed first out
of 86 competitors in his weight division. He beat
wrestlers from Alaska, California, Colorado and Idaho
including Tony Webber of Bakersfield, Calif., 3-2 in
sudden death, in the championship finals. He and brother
Michael will represent the 4-A/5-A team vs. the
1-A/2-A/3-A team in the fifth annual All-Star dual on
Wednesday, Jan. 4.
