The Delta Rabbits, a long time wrestling powerhouse in Utah high school sports with 26 State titles, came to Emery last week and administered a thumping to the Emery wrestling team. Delta won 65-9.

Although this team still young in both school years and experience, they fought bravely on and will be better for having wrestled.

The only winners for the Spartans were Kendall Bird and Jesse Jensen. Kendall pinned his opponent in the third round and Jesse won by decision. Jex Jensen went into overtime before losing to his man. Here are the results:

On Thursday the Emery wrestlers were opposed by Altamont and the Altamont wrestlers defeated Emery by a score of 39-30.
