Utahns ranked: Thirteen Utah prep senior
wrestlers are ranked nationally in their respective weight
divisions in the latest edition of Wrestling USA magazine.
Tooele's Andrew Hochstrasser is the
highest-ranked Utahn. The three-time state champ,
who will vie next February to become one the seventh Utahn
to win four individual state titles, is No. 4 in the
country at 125 pounds.
Mountain Crest's Josh
Burnett is No. 22 and Lehi's Michael Robins is No. 30 in
the same weight class.
Mountain Crest's Luke Lofthouse is No. 7
at 189, Wasatch's Colton
Salazar is No. 10 at 152, Timpanogos' Chase Walker is No. 11 at 145,
Timpanogos' McKay Sanderson is No. 12 at 135, Spanish
Fork's Dave Beagley is No. 18 at 103, Wasatch's Cody Sweat
is No.
22 at 140, Timpanogos' Randy Callicoat is No. 23 at 160,
Orem's Mark Freeman is No. 26 at 275, and a group of
wrestlers are No. 30 in their respective weights: Orem's Casey Fehlberg
(130), Wasatch's Pete Rosem (135), Spanish Fork's Jeb Clark
(140), Viewmont's Landon Essig (152), Pineview's Cade
Neuman (160), and Weber's Craig Mock (171).
