NWCA Convention News

The NWCA is excited to announce Dr. Philomena Mantella, President of Grand Valley State University as the Saturday keynote speaker at the Awards Luncheon, sponsored by MG Science Technologies LLC. Dr. Philomena (Philly) V. Mantella is the fifth president of Grand Valley State University (GVSU). In 2019, Dr. Mantella was named the first female president in school history and oversees Michigan’s third-largest public university, with more than 22,000 students, 3,000 faculty and staff across three campuses, and six regional centers.

The NWCA is partnering with the MG Science Technologies LLC to sponsor this Awards Luncheon on Saturday at the Convention. This luncheon will feature Keynote Speaker, Dr. Philomena Mantella, a special statement from MG Science Technologies LLC and yearly awards. This luncheon is included in your Convention Registration. It is on Saturday, July 27 from 1:15pm-2:30pm in the main ballroom (Champions ABCDE).

The NWCA Convention will be taking place in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida in St. Johns County. The St. Johns County Parks and Recreation Department is a thriving local park system.
